November 1, 2026 meeting: It’s the guild’s annual dye party!! Dyeing begins at 10 am and clean up completed by 2 pm. Party held at Steppingstone Farm Museum, 461 Quaker Bottom Rd, Havre de Grace, MD. Happy to announce this year that “Never Dull” will be on hand beginning at 11 am to sharpen your basketry shears, lawn implements, kitchen knives, or most anything with a blade! At the October meeting on October 4th, Joanne Sheriff’s activity of weaving with paper was a fantastic hit! Joanne had many different cutouts and a ton of cut paper. Everyone could be as creative as they wanted to be and Joanne was there to make wonderful suggestions! Thanks Joanne, it took a lot preparation and we appreciated it!!

At the September meeting, Louise Beyer and June Hersey conducted a hands-on staining clinic. Members brought baskets and tried out different stains. Lot of experimenting which led to some beautifully stained baskets…see below!

At the November 1, 2026, to be held at Steppingstone Farm Museum, 461 Quaker Bottom Rd, Havre de Grace, the guild will hold its annual dye party. “Dyeing” will start at 10 am. Clean up completed by 2 pm. A business meeting will be held at 1 pm. We are also having “Never be Dull” available to sharpen your basketry shears, household scissors, lawn implements and more.
