DCBG holds two basket bingos each year to raise funds for community service projects, to defray visiting teacher’s expenses and cover operating costs. The bingos are a great way to advertise the art of basketry.
The bingos are supported by members in various ways – without member support, there would be no bingos! Thank you, members! Members earn “Basket Bucks” for their support. Detailed information about Basket Bucks will be added to the website in the near future. The bingos are also a great opportunity for members to sell their own handcrafted baskets at the “Marketplace”. Just by completing an Inventory Form and tagging their baskets, they can sell their baskets! ((This Inventory Form should automatically calculate the price and sales tax.
